On Tuesday 15th October, Eastern Star Lodge No 95 not only initiated their newest member, Isaac Acheampong, but did so in the presence of a host of Entered Apprentices from other Lodges as part of the Welcome Project. Also in attendance was Eastern Star’s Metropolitan Grand Inspector, W Bro Huw Pritchard, PSGD.
The Welcome Project initiative gives recently initiated Masons an opportunity to witness someone else’s initiation at an early stage in their Masonic careers, giving them an important insight into the ceremony which they themselves have just experienced.
The Festive Board was held in the sumptuous Gallery Suite at Freemasons Hall, where not only was good time had by all, but the Entered Apprentices Song was sung with gusto and a reasonable measure of tunefulness.
